Friends of Brecknock YFC 200 Club

The first draw of 2018 will take place on Friday 9th February 2018 during the 71st Annual Drama/Pantomime & One Plus Festival.  Membership is £10.00 a year and the lucky 1st prize winner will receive £150.00, in the recent Christmas Draw the winner was new member Kirsty Rea from Llandefalle YFC.  There are two draws per year one in February and one in December.

Brecknock YFC Achievement Day - TOMORROW!!

Brecknock YFC will be hosting a busy day tomorrow (Saturday 9th December) at Hafod-y-Hendre, RWAS, Llanwelwedd, LD2 3NJ.  Competitions will start from 10am with the Club Display and Junior Fence Erecting with  a packed programme concluding at 3pm with the Group Singing Competition and Junior and Senior Member of the Year.  Please see a full timetable below.

Change to Staffing at County Office

The announcement was made last night at the Executive that Claire Price, current Brecknock YFC Development Manager will be leaving the organisation.  Claire has worked for the organisation for 13 years and has found the decision very hard to leave the movement.

Sennybridge YFC had great Success at Carcase Judging Competition

Brecknock YFC Carcase Competition was held recently at George Butchers Talgarth with reason giving taking place at Gwernyfed RFC.  Members from across the County judged one line of Lamb, beef and pork carcases.  The winners will now go forward to represent the County in the Wales YFC final held at the Welsh Winter Fair on Monday 27th November 2017.

Mark & John causing Chaos in Clubs!!!

Mark Powell County Chair and John Price Vice County Chair are on a mission to visit as many clubs as they can this year and get the FUN back into YFC.  Attending your local club on a weekly basis is a really important part of YFC.  Competing is not for everyone and if you do not enjoy that side of the organisation then that is absolutely fine.  But attending your local club is important, that is where you will meet people, learn skills, experience new things and have FUN.
