County AGM Report
Friday 4th October, Brecknock YFC held their Annual General Meeting and Awards Presentation Evening in Llangynidr Hall, Crickhowell.
Mr Robert Healey was re elected as County President for his second year and Mr Gwyn Protheroe as Deputy President. Outgoing County Chair Ryan Watkins stepped down for his role, on behalf of the Federation we would like to sincerely thank Ryan for all his hard work, support dedication he has given the staff, officials and members over the last twelve month. Niall Evans Builth Wells YFC was elected as the new County Chair and Samuel Powell Erwood YFC elected as County Vice Chair.
2023/2024 County Chair Chosen charities was the Wales Air Ambulance and Leukemia, both charities very close to Ryan’s heart. Over various events throughout the year, a total amount raised £1304.73 which will be split between both charities.
Early September the Federation held their Sub Committee AGM’s, Baden Davies Libanus YFC was elected as Competitions Chair and Isobel Hood Trecastle YFC elected as Vice. Stephen Matthews Libanus YFC was elected as Fundraising & Events Chair and Iwan Davies Treacstle YFC as Vice. Fern Llandefalle YFC elected as the new Welsh Language Development Officer and Abigail Sennybridge YFC as deputy. Isabel Ystradfellte YFC was elected a Youth Forum Chair and Ellis Sennybridge YFC as vice.
The Rural Affairs working group elected Jamie Coles Llandefalle YFC as their Chair and Chloe Smith Ystradfellte YFC as Vice.
The Board of Management Committee re elected Sharon Healey as Chair and Kirsty Williams remain as Vice Chair.
