An evening of Entertainment at Annual Eisteddfod!

On Sunday, October 6th, members from across the county gathered at the Guild Hall in Brecon for the Annual Eisteddfod, featuring Welsh Reading for under 14’s and English Public Speaking 14 years of age or under.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our judges: Lynne Griffin for English Public Speaking, Ffion Hemmings for Welsh Reading. As well as our Eisteddfod Adjudicators for the evening, Elen Williams and Lynette Thomas . A special shout-out also goes to our stewards for their invaluable assistance in ensuring the event ran smoothly as well as Dyfed Watkins for Comparing throughout . Thanks also must go to our main sponsors Hay and Brecon Farmers for their support.

Participants showcased their talents through a variety of competitions, including singing, dancing, and more. Congratulations to Erwood YFC for their success in the Welsh Reading Competition and to Sennybridge for excelling in English Public Speaking. Lastly, a huge congratulations to Pontfaen YFC for winning the overall Eisteddfod!
