Stockman Day

On Sunday Brecknock YFC held their Annual Stockman Day at Brecon Livestock Market by the kind permission of McCartneys Auctioneers. Earlier this month we held our Annual Carcass Judging competition at W J George Butchers Talgarth and our Dairy Judging competition kindly hosted by the Sevenoaks family Llangorse.

Congratulations to Rose Pontfaen YFC winning Stockman of the year 16 years and under, Chloe Trecastle YFC winning 18 years and under, Dani Harley Builth Wells YFC winning 21 years and under and Rhian Lewis Pontfaen YFC winning 28 years and under. Elin Havard Sennybridge YFC won the overall Stockman of the year 28 years and under and Chloe Trecastle YFC won the under 18 category.

Congratulations to all of the members on winning their individual awards and good luck to all of the members who have been selected to go forward and represent the County at the English and Welsh Winter Fairs in November.
